Tribes popped down to our studio recently for a festival feature shoot. We took some behind-the-scenes footage of what went down and caught up with  frontman Johnny Lloyd. Check out the snippet of the interview below where Lloyd shares his first festival experience and working with Jamie T. Keep your eyes peeled for full feature on… Coming very soon.

On His First Festival
My first festival was Ozzfest with Jimmy. I remember we got there, I passed out for the whole day, and he woke me up when we left.

On His Weirdest Fan Moment
Last year in Shepherds Bush this Japanese lady met my Nan in the toilet and was following her around all the time. I see this girl all the time, which is kind of creepy anyway, and she asks how my Nan is.

What He’s Looking Forward To This Summer
Most exciting thing of this summer is The Horrors finishing their new album. It’s a little bit more ‘Primary Colours’ than ‘Skying’, more bass driven than synth.

On Collaborating
I’m playing with Jamie T at the moment. He’s finishing his new album which is great. Jamie’s stuff is amazing, it’s really slow, angry punk. He’s a classic character.
