With the second London Collections: Men just a week away we reveal this year’s exciting line –up of emerging designers, who will be showcasing their collections as part of the Fashion East and Topman sponsored MAN show. As Topman Creative Director, Gordon Richardson explains “they all have something different to offer, and we have a new designer in the mix, so that is going to be interesting." Here are the three designers who we expect will be a big deal in 2013...

Agi & Sam
Design duo Agape Mdumulla and Sam Cotton are part of the exciting new blood at the forefront of a whole new batch of uber-talented menswear designers from the UK taking the scene by storm. Their label, Agi & Sam, is fast establishing itself as a name synonymous with playful, punchy prints of explosive colour, clashing florals and slick design.
Gordon’s comment: There’s quite a lot of pressure on them now. They are maturing quite fast, they’re expanding – but they are bound to do a great collection.

Astrid Andersen
A name fashion insiders just can’t get enough of right now is Astrid Andersen. The Danish-born, Royal College of Art graduate has already one over key movers and shakers in the industry, including renowned stylist Simon Foxton, and fashion titles such as i-D and Esquire.
Gordon’s comment: Astrid Andersen is always amazing – it’s that sportswear domain and the shapes and the textures are different.  And with Elgar Johnson styling it will be really good.

Craig Green
The Central Saint Martins grad’s strong silhouettes and attention to detail has seen him tipped as one of this year’s breakout fashion stars. Green is a designer that proves an experimental approach to construction and fit can translate into clothes that are both striking and wearable.
Gordon’s comment: Craig Green will rejuvenate that arena by bringing something new to the mix.
